What is so amazing about a safari ?
The visceral thrill of hearing a lion roar so close you can feel it in your chest. The incredible variety of the dawn chorus of the bush as the sun rises on another beautiful day. Watching families of elephant exuberantly play in water. Walking through the bush with all your senses hyper alert. Catching a glimpse of a perfectly camouflaged leopard as it slides through the undergrowth. Gliding through crystal waters in a dug out canoe, at eye level with reed frogs. Baboons acting like belligerent teenagers. Seeing a Journey of Giraffe silhouetted against a red sky. Drinking the most perfect G&T as the sun sinks below the horizon at the end of the best day you’ve ever had. Listening to Maasai warriors singing in the dark. Going to sleep to a chorus of hippo grunts. Waking in the night to the whoop of hyenas.
